11:37am Well, that happened rather quickly. For much of the first hour, Pakistan seemed in control, with Salman and Shakeel ticking along nicely. But Maharaj trapped Salman just before the drinks break and that set into motion yet another Pakistan mini-collapse. Maharaj, like he was for much of yesterday, was SA's bowling lynchpin, finishing with seven wickets. Harmer did his bit too, as did the pacers, who got the ball to reverse at different times.

Pakistan may not be very pleased with how things unraveled today, especially after the fall of their sixth wicket. Prior to that, Masood, Shafique and Shakeel mustered half-centuries and that has given Pakistan a handy total, although at this stage, they will feel that they have left a few runs out there. Join us in a bit as SA try and navigate through what could be a tricky period just before lunch.

Maharaj to Asif Afridi, OUT, a wild slog this time, and that will be that for Pakistan in the first innings! Asif wanted to chance his arm and goes after this full ball outside off as well. The only problem, though, is that mid-way, he perhaps stops watching the ball. Swings at it rather aimlessly and misses the ball by a mile, with the ball then crashing into middle and leg. Asif dismissed for four in his debut Test innings, and SA have wrapped up this Pakistan innings for 333!

Maharaj to Asif Afridi, FOUR, oh, hello! That is one way to open your Test account! Looped up into the slot outside off. Asif gets his front foot out of the way and clubs it over the bowler's head!

Maharaj to Asif Afridi, no run, fired in full outside off. Asif gets forward and kicks it away. Maharaj went up in appeal but that was never going to hit the stumps

Maharaj to Sajid Khan, OUT, nicked and Markram snares another! Maharaj continues denting Pakistan! Lots of fizz and lots of revs on this. Dips on Sajid on a fullish length outside off and entices him into a loose drive away from the body. The ball flies off the outside edge and Markram accepts that offering gleefully at first slip. Pakistan one wicket away from being bowled out under 350!

Sajid Khan c Markram b Maharaj 5 (11m 14b 1x4 0x6) SR: 35.71
