Player of the Match

That's it from us, folks. We'll have the third T20I for you on Wednesday. Join us then!

Litton Das is player of the match: "In the last couple of games I've been trying to play good cricket but it hasn't happened for a couple of matches. Shamim's batting was amazing. It's a good pitch to bat on, but you need to take a bit of time because some bowlers are coming with a bit of bounce. Whenever Rishad bowls well we're in a good place. The bowling and fielding were important.:"

Charith Asalanka: "We were undone by our bad batting and good fielding from Bangladesh. We also didn't field well. Right now we are in the same situation we were in the ODIs."

Malay : "Litton is my selection for MoM. Any contender?"

That's a HUUUUGE victory for Bangladesh. 83 runs is a substantial margin even in Tests but in T20Is, that's quite the gap. Their batting in the last 10 especially was outstanding. with Litton and Shamim Hossain playing excellent innings. Then their bowlers scythed through Sri Lanka's in-form top order. They've forced a decider in this series as well, with the ODIs also having been live into the third match.

Of those Bangladesh bowlers, Rishad Hossain was especially impressive. His 3 for 18 from 3.2 overs are the best figures in the match.

Rishad Hossain to B Fernando, OUT, is Binura stumped? Litton seems confident. Yes, his foot is in the air when the stumps light up. That's it for Sri Lanka. This was a looped up ball wide of off, turning away, tempting Binura into a big shot over cover. He overbalances, drags his back foot out of the crease, and Litton snaps the bails off. It's fitting that the captain puts the final touch on this win.

Mustafizur Rahman to Theekshana, OUT, Theekshana edges this behind. Bangladesh are one away. This is a fullish ball angled well across the batter. Theekshana swings and gets a thin edge I think. It's a slower ball so it dies on Litton, but he gets his gloves comfortably beneath it

Mohammad Saifuddin to Vandersay, OUT, scoops this into the hands of short fine leg, where Mustafizur Rahman runs back to take good catch over his shoulder. This was a slower one from Saifuddin, which means that although the length was right the pace was not. Vandersay shuffles to off and shovels it over his shoulder, but Mustafiz can get to i with a couple of big strides. Holds it above his head
