9.52pm And with that, West Indies head over to collect their series trophy, their second ODI win over England in the space of 11 months. Well done them, and now it's over to the T20Is, starting here in Barbados on November 9. Jos Buttler should be back as captain, but he'll be coming up against a pumped-up West Indies team who have beaten England consistently on home soil in recent times. It should be fun viewing. From Miller, Alan, Ranjith and the team, good night!

9.43pm Right, time for some presentations.

Brandon King is Player of the Match: "Fair number of starts, fortunate this came in a crucial match. Keep your processes and same intensity and believe in your ability. Fantastic innings by Keacy, batted fluently and helped both of us get a good score. [Catch off Salt] I had a bit of room, and luckily Alzarri was there to give me a bit of help."

Liam Livingstone: "We battled back well, took momentum into fielding innings, disappointing end but good parts to the series. We'll take a hell of a lot of lessons, a lot of positives. We're missing a lot of players who will come back into our team. Hopefully the younger boys will have learned a hell of a lot. Massive honour to lead your country."

Matthew Forde is Player of the Series: "A bit surprised, but went out to do a job for the team. The wicket was slow, we tried to adapt, and keep it on a good length, assisting a bit, happy to get some wickets. It's a brotherhood, we love one another and get the info, from Seales and Alzarri, and respect each other's opinions. Happy to get the series win and PoS is a plus for me."

Shai Hope: "The dominance and discipline were the main thing, doing it consistency, pulling weight, ticking boxes off the field and transferring it on field. Confidence booster especially for the batting unit."

On the Alzarri incident, "no comment"... "things happen".

"We always fight when we are challenged, great to see the guys growing in confidence."

9.30pm Handshakes all round, as the better team completes the mission they set in motion in an equally emphatic opening victory. Keacy Carty and Brandon King's pair of centuries in a 209-run stand demolished the series decider, for their second eight-wicket win of the week. Their challenge was set in motion by another fine bowling display, with Matthew Forde and a pumped-up Alzarri Joseph cowing England in the powerplay, and despite a doughty knock from Phil Salt and a maiden ODI fifty for Dan Mousley, their total of 263 for 8 never looked like being enough.
