2:05pm An excellent Sri Lankan pace-bowling display. It was set up late yesterday evening, with Fernando trapping Shanto and Zakir lbw. Rajitha also popped up with the scalp of Mominul. In the morning today, it was all Kumara as he ripped through the middle order. Rajitha and Fernando then returned to clean up the lower order, and give Sri Lanka a 92-run lead.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, would not be very happy with how this innings transpired. Taijul, who came in as night watchman yesterday, ended up being their top scorer and that perhaps summed it up. Litton, Mahmudul, Mehidy and Shahadat all got starts but none of them could make a substantial fist of it. In fact, had it not been for Khaled and Shoriful towards the end, Bangladesh might have been staring down at an even greater Sri Lankan lead.
Advantage Sri Lanka at this juncture, and we will be back in a few minutes for the start of their second innings, which could likely point towards where this game is heading.

If Khaled connects with one of these, we might have to retrieve the ball from Dhaka...

Jokes aside, the protective cushion at the back of his helmet was missing initially and he has now gotten it in place. All good to go now
Around the wicket now. Looks like Rana is not happy with his helmet. Oh, we have been here before...
Surely a fuller delivery is worth bowling now, having pushed Rana so far back?
Debutant Rana to face the music now
