Wow, Carse is the first England bowler to take 10 in a match overseas since Monty Panesar at the Wankhede in 2012! And the first seamer since Ryan Sidebottom in Hamilton back in 2008.As Yas Rana from Wisden points out, neither Stuart Broad nor James Anderson managed that in their extensive careers.
1.16pm: And that will be lunch on the fourth day, ahead of England's run chase. England had to work hard this morning, the last-wicket stand worth 45 off 78 balls, but have done the job they arrived to do. Brydon Carse was hugely impressive again, returning the best figures of his nascent Test career - and completing 10 in the match as well. He had a long battle with Mitchell and ended up winning it, and took three of the four wickets to fall this morning - Atkinson the other.
Carse's match figures of 10 for 106 are his best not only in Tests, but in first-class cricket too. Well bowled.
The one major concern for England was Ben Stokes failing to complete an over with what looked as though it might have been a hamstring issue... although he stayed out there, suggesting it might not have been too bad, and we are still waiting for official word.
Sagar: "So Paul Muchmore has put the classic curse on poor Mitchell there!!" -- There will be a beautiful graphic in his Deleted Items folder, no doubt...

Chris: "Is the pitch dead or is England just suffering from their usual inability to polish off the tail?" -- A bit of both... it's been a new-ball pitch to a certain extent, and this one is nearly 74 overs old.
CJay: "With all the fielders on the boundary, there is a good opportunity for some of the young supporters to complete the full quota of autographs" -- Quite a few of them have come up, with O'Rourke on strike now
The partnership is worth 43 off 70 balls, and a few of England's fielders will be getting a little bit itchy out there.

Rhys: "Welcome to yet another episode of "England can't bowl out the tail"." -- Not a great record bowling to last-wicket pairs this year.
Paul Muchmore from ESPNcricinfo's world-beating social media team: "All of Daryl Mitchell's Test hundreds are either against England or at Hagley Oval... he could tick both boxes here."
