Well, what can you say? We had 14 wickets fall today in three sessions with five in the morning, two in the afternoon, and seven in the evening. Paterson offered a lot of control and Piedt kept the batters' outside edges in play. von Berg, though, will have to wait for his first Test wicket.
As for New Zealand, Williamson and Latham both hit forties and Will Young scored a promising 36, but otherwise it was a disappointing batting performance from them. South Africa saw a small opening today and took it, and will hope that tomorrow they can take full advantage. We'll see you again tomorrow nice and early for the cricket. Till then, bye bye!
6.06pm With 1.3 overs left in the day, South Africa bowl New Zealand out for only 211. It could've been worse for New Zealand, but Neil Wagner's 27-ball 33 breathed some life into it. In all, a total of 7 wickets for 90 runs fell after tea, and Piedt has finished with his first five-for in nine years.
