8.4 stumped by a fair distance! Shortens the length after seeing the batter advance. Scholfield, despite taking a couple of steps down, is nowhere to the pitch of the ball. She has a swipe at it anyway and misses as the ball spins back just enough to beat her bat. Redmayne gathers and does the rest. The Invincibles have lost both their openers now, and neither was able to make a massive impact! 46/2
7.3 straight back at Dean, and Lanning has to go! Given a bit of air outside off and Lanning's eyes light up. She looks to go downtown but does not quite get under it. Off the bottom part of the bat and Dean accepts the offering with utmost glee. Another scratchy innings by Lanning, and she has to walk back for a 20-ball 19! 42/1
11.2 miscued, and Gray breaks a promising partnership! Full just outside off and Capsey thinks this is there to be hit. To be fair, she has a case, but she just does not get the timing right. Off the toe-end and Gibson, running in off the deep mid wicket fence, snares the chance with minimal fuss! 65/3
18.5 oh, put a cape on Charlie Dean! That is a worldie and some - my word! Slower ball on a back of a length just outside off. A bit of extra bounce and Kapp slices it uppishly towards extra cover. For the longest time, it feels the ball will loop over until....Dean flings out her right mitt and makes it stick. Clean as a whistle, and that would not have been out of place in the WNBA either when trying an alley-oop! 101/7
12.3 in the air and taken sharply by Coppack! Slowed up on a back of a length on middle and off. Winfield-Hill, after getting into position for the reverse, has to wait for the ball. She gets good purchase on it but cannot quite keep it down, which brings Coppack into play at backward point. She snaps down low to her left and sends the Invincibles skipper on her way, despite a belated third-umpire check for a clean catch! 70/4
15.3 another mix-up, and Wellington is on her way this time! Slower ball on a back of a length outside off. Kapp advances and jabs it towards extra cover. Both batters then look at each other before Wellington decides to go through for the run. The throw to the keeper is not great, but Redmayne does brilliantly to collect it almost on the half-volley and then take off the bails. The pinch-hitting experiment with Wellington does not quite come off, and the Invincibles still in urgent need of impetus! 80/5
17.3 straight to long on! In the slot on middle and leg. Gardner wants to pop this over the fence but does not muster the requisite power. Straight down Harris' throat and the Invincibles, in trying to up the tempo, lose another wicket! 93/6

19.1 castled! Dean can do no wrong! Zipped in very full on leg stump. Moore walks across her stumps, trying to paddle it away. The ball is too full to be playing that stroke, though, and because of how far Moore walks across, she cannot access the ball either. Hears the rattle of leg stump soon after, and the Invincibles are eight down! 101/8

11.5 knocks her over, and Franklin has two in the set! Angled in on a length on middle and off. Chathli tries to reverse-ramp her side to a massive win, but loses track of the ball. Fails to make contact and the ball rattles into the stumps. A stellar knock, though, and that has given the Spirit a sizeable chance of making the playoffs now! 107/2
11.3 taken at mid off, and the Invincibles have a wicket, finally! Not sure this will impact the game, apart from probably bringing down the Spirit's NRR down a touch. This is a length ball outside off. Redmayne wants to go over mid off but does not manage the elevation she wants. Capsey runs back and takes it over her shoulder! 106/1
