Scorer: Ranjith P | Commentator: Shashwat Kumar

5:21pm That will be all from us for this game. The Spirit have done everything they could have done to put themselves in contention to qualify, but all of that will only be decided after the Northern Superchargers take on the Manchester Originals. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this game and until next time, from Ranjith and myself, Shashwat, this is goodbye!

Charlie Dean, Player of the Match: (On her catch to dismiss Kapp) I should have been on the ring (smiles). But managed to time my jump and hung on. That was an impressive victory. We went out wanting to bounce back and to win by a margin like that
we did not discuss to much about NRR but the way we went about that, it was fantastic. I did not start particularly well (in the tournament. But really honed in today. The pitch worked in my favour and I hit my lengths today. (On Chathli) She is brilliant. At the top of the order, trying to punch first. They (the openers) were brilliant today, could not have asked for more from them. (On if she will be watching tomorrow's game between MO and NSC) Probably. We have a rest day and hope for the best. We have done everything (to put ourselves in the best position to qualify) and fingers crossed.

5:15pm An utterly dominant run-chase. At the break, Eva Gray suggested the Spirit would be happy chasing down this score in 80-85 balls, and they have surpassed those expectations and some. Chathli was brilliant at the top of the order, smashing the ball to all parts and utilizing the powerplay, which included putting Kapp to the sword. Redmayne then grew into the innings and pressed on the accelerator too, with the pair combining for a 100-plus stand that knocked the stuffing out of the Invincibles.

Speaking of the Invincibles, this was the perforamnce of a team that had nothing riding on this game. They were lacklustre with the bat and perhaps poorer with the ball. This, in general, has been a season where they have not punched their weight and their final display of the season was not very dissimilar, which is probably what will sting the most.

Franklin to Knott, FOUR, Knott finishes it off with a boundary, and the London Spirit take a very important step on the road to qualification, and they have done so by absolutely thrashing their city rivals! Full toss on the pads and that probably sums up this performance by the Invincibles. Knott puts it away behind square and this will boost their NRR significantly, which means they now have a very decent shot at making the playoffs!

Franklin to Harris, 1 run, slanted in full on the stumps. Harris comes forward and pushes it towards long on. The batters settle for a single, and the scores are now level!

Knott is the new batter in. At the other end for now. Harris on strike to Franklin, who has had to swap ends

Franklin to Chathli, OUT, knocks her over, and Franklin has two in the set! Angled in on a length on middle and off. Chathli tries to reverse-ramp her side to a massive win, but loses track of the ball. Fails to make contact and the ball rattles into the stumps. A stellar knock, though, and that has given the Spirit a sizeable chance of making the playoffs now!

Franklin to Redmayne, OUT, taken at mid off, and the Invincibles have a wicket, finally! Not sure this will impact the game, apart from probably bringing down the Spirit's NRR down a touch. This is a length ball outside off. Redmayne wants to go over mid off but does not manage the elevation she wants. Capsey runs back and takes it over her shoulder!

Franklin to Redmayne, FOUR, just three needed now! Shortish and sliding into the hips. Redmayne swings at it and mauls it behind square for four!
