Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: Shashwat Kumar

5:35pm That will be all from us for this game. But the Men's Hundred will be swinging into action not long from now, and you can catch all the action here. Until next time, from Sudeep, Vairavan and myself (Shashwat), this is goodbye!

Hypocaust: "Northern Superchargers women have now won 11, lost 4 and tied 1 at Headingley. Their win-loss ratio of 2.75 to 1 is the best for any team at their home ground in the women's Hundred."

Georgia Wareham, Player of the Match: Felt really good. We were really clinical in all facets. (On the chat with her skipper when she walked in to bat) Just be(ing) really calm at the time, knowing that there were quite a few balls left. Always calm with her (Armitage), she keeps things level. Wanted to take the game on and be brave, and thought we did that today (as batters). (Mindset with the ball) We wanted to keep the stumps in play. The change of pace worked for them and we took that into play for us. Just starting off with a win is really good. The way the girls played, it did not look like it was our first hit-out, will take a lot of confidence (from this).

5:30pm At the half-way stage, it felt the Superchargers had an above-par total on the board, and so it proved. They were helped by a terrible mix-up between Dunkley and Matthews early in the chase. Matthews could not find her range either, which meant Beaumont had to do plenty of the heavy lifting. There was a phase where Beaumont and Elwiss threatened, but a run-out, which culminated in the latter's dismissal, set in motion another collapse - one that proved decisive eventually.

Plenty of positives to take for the hosts, on the other hand. Their batters put in a collective display, and their bowlers followed it up, with each of them getting on the board. They were also largely tidy in the field and they will take a lot of confidence from this opening-game display moving forward.

Ballinger to Levick, OUT, taken excellently by Wareham, and that sums up a commanding display by the Northern Superchargers! Back of a length, angling into middle and leg. Levick swings at it because, well, why not. Tugs it uppishly towards deep mid wicket and Wareham races in from the fence to complete a forward-tumbling catch. A comfortable win in the end, and the Superchargers have been full value for it!

Ballinger to Levick, no run, slanted in very full on middle and off. Levick thumps it back at the bowler, who gets something behind it. Might have copped a blow on the right shin, though, and that will not tickle...
