Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: Shashwat Kumar

5:38pm That will be all from us for this game. In a few minutes from now, the Manchester Originals will be hosting the Southern Brave in the Men's Hundred, and you can follow all the action from that contest here. Until next time, from Sudeep, Vairavan and myself, Shashwat, this is goodbye!

5:31pm A comfortable run-chase for the Southern Brave, even though they did lose Bouchier rather early. Wyatt-Hodge and Wolvaardt, though, ensured there would be no further major hiccups. While the former popped up with a 27-ball 32, the latter finished unbeaten and also hit the winning runs.

Plenty to ponder for the hosts, though. They would have wanted to get off to a good start in front of their fans but just did not have enough runs on the board. There were, however, a few positive signs, and they will hope they can build on that when they face the Oval Invincibles on Saturday.

Dottin to Wolvaardt, 1 run, that will be that! A neat flick off the pads, and the Southern Brave coast to a six-wicket win! This was a low full toss and Wolvaardt, having spent so much time at the crease, gleefully tucks it past mid wicket and ices this run-chase!

Dottin to Wolvaardt, FOUR, up and over! Not the cleanest connection Wolvaardt will ever make, but that will do for now. Steps forward to this full ball outside off and muscles it over mid off!

Dottin to Wolvaardt, no run, almost a yorker, zoning into leg stump. Wolvaardt cannot get under it and chalks it towards mid on

Dottin to Wolvaardt, no run, on a length outside off. Wolvaardt goes chasing after it but only swishes at thin air

Ecclestone to Wolvaardt, FOUR, short and dismissed! This a rare loose ball by Ecclestone. Sits up to be hit well outside leg and Wolvaardt obliges by pounding it behind square!

Ecclestone to Wolvaardt, no run, full on leg stump. Wolvaardt thinks about the slog before checking her shot at the last moment. Tugs it towards mid wicket eventually
