2.2 slashed in the air, and gobbled up at backward point! This is perhaps a touch shorter outside off and seems to just stick in the surface. Mooney thinks she has the square cut lined up but cannot quite keep it down. That brings Wyatt-Hodge into play and she lunges forward smartly to send the Originals skipper on her way. Brave turning the screw early! 10/2
0.3 cleans her up, and Bell is on the board early! This looks like the variation and Bryce is all at sea. Zipped in full on middle stump and this seems to nip back in sharply. Bryce plays for the original line, does not account for the seam movement and hears the rattle of her stumps soon after. The hosts under pressure early! 3/1
4.5 scooped up, and taken comfortably by Tryon at short fine leg! Very full and slanted into middle and off. Kerr makes her move early and shuffles across, shaping up for the lap. Gets bat on it but does not generate any sort of power, possibly because she toe-ended it. The ball balloons off the bat, and this powerplay goes from bad to worse for the Manchester Originals! 23/3
8.1 simple return catch, and the Originals lose another! Tossed up on a fullish length on middle and off, and this seems to dip on the batter late. A bit of hold in the surface too and Jones, trying to punch it down the ground for a single, ends up offering the easiest of return catches to Villiers. The Originals are sinking! 39/5
6.4 a wild swipe across the line, and that will be that with the bat for Dottin today! Slowed up delightfully on a length just outside off, and Dottin's eyes light up. She looks to tonk that into next week but loses her shape completely. Makes no contact whatsoever and the ball comes in with the angle just enough to clip the outside of off stump. Manchester Originals four down in 34 balls, and in a lot of trouble! 32/4

10.3 oh dear - that is the last thing the Originals needed! Short and wide, and this bounces appreciably more than expected. Smale jabs it towards extra cover and calls for the single. That is a very risky run, though, and Monaghan finds that out fairly soon, despite a sprawling dive. A decent throw by Wyatt-Hodge at the stumps, and Southby does the rest to send another MO batter packing! 47/6
12.4 goes straight up, and Bell has another! Hard length, angling into the stumps and tucking up the batter. Morris has a swipe at it but does not get it anywhere near the middle of the bat. Loops up off the splice and Bell completes the catch with minimal fuss! 54/7
14.4 castled! This is zipped in much fuller on middle and off, and almost ends up being a yorker. Ecclestone has designs of slogging this over cow corner but the ball is just too full to be playing that stroke. The ball sneaks under the toe-end of Ecclestone's bat, and Adams is among the wickets too! 66/8

2.4 popped to mid on, and Dottin has her first! On a length just outside off and Bouchier thinks she can smash this over mid on to get this innings truly underway. Does not middle it, though, and clinks it towards Ecclestone. She nearly makes a meal of it, with the ball hitting her almost on the wrist, but she does enough in the end to hold on. The Originals have the early wicket they would have been after! 11/1

9.5 cleans her up with an absolute peach! This is beautiful bowling. Flighted up and drifting in on a length on off stump. The ball grips in the surface too and straightens just a smidgen. Wyatt-Hodge plays the original line, which ends up being the wrong line. The ball breezes past the outside edge and knocks back off. Wyatt-Hodge walks back after an enterprising knock! 59/2

10.4 sharp catch by Kerr, and Devine has been dismissed for a duck! On the shorter side again, just outside off. There to be hit and that is exactly what Devine does. She, however, hits it uppishly and that brings Kerr into play at mid wicket. She watches the ball all the way and snares the chance to peg the Southern Brave back in quick succession! 64/3
15.2 soft, soft dismissal! Given some air on a full length just outside leg. Kemp steps down the track, looking to go downtown but the ball is too full to get under. She chips it straight to Ecclestone at mid off, and with the finish line in sight, Kemp has to trudge off! 80/4
