Meg Lanning, Match Hero: Beautiful day here, we wanted to get off to a good start with the bat and put them under pressure, really good all round performance. Felt like it got bit more tricky as it went on, pace off the ball and wicket was pretty conducive to that, so it sort of felt like it was but more difficult than what I thought but in the end we got a pretty competitive total. (on bowling plans) It was about bowling straight at the stumps and taking pace off the ball. We thought Birmingham used that really well and we wanted to do that right from the start. We had to hold our nerve when Devine and Perry were going. We knew a chance would come. It's great place to play, very special, great to be here in front of a fantastic crowd and nice to get a win

Spirit move up to first after their second win! Ellyse Perry and Sophie Devine stitched a brilliant partnership, giving Spirit a scare, with the former adding 65 and the latter 35. However, it was an uphill task to track down a stiff total. They left plenty of runs at the end, and the likes of Gray, Gibson, and Dean were phenomenal when it mattered most, preventing Phoenix from snatching the game. It was a tricky surface where taking the pace off paid rich dividends, and Phoenix would feel they were a bit off the boil in the bowling department, conceding 20-30 extra runs. Earlier, Ellyse Perry was not among the wickets, but Katie Levick had a fantastic outing, picking up three scalps and conceding only 24 runs in her complete set. In reply, Suzie Bates got run out at six, while her opening partner Sterre Kalis was cleaned up at two. After Perry and Devine's wickets, Amy Jones struck a few meaty blows but ran out of time and perhaps should have batted higher in the order. Sarah Glenn was the pick of the bowlers with three key wickets in a blazing spell. That's it from the Women's Hundred game, but the men's match is about to commence shortly so switch over to that tab. For now, it's sayonara from Rvel Zahid

Gibson to Jones, SIX, Sublime shot! Length on off, stand and deliver smack over the bowler's head for a six. That is a proper wallop
