They started briskly and batted around Meg Lanning, who held the innings together but was stranded at the non-striker's end in the latter part of the innings. Earlier the organized chaotic cameo from Cordelia Griffith injected impetus into the innings and then Heather Knight hung around for a while and Danielle Gibson made 15 off 15. Phoenix managed to put a stopper on the innings towards the end and a flurry of wickets prevented an impregnable score. Plenty of extras were conceded, 11 to be precise. Perry wasn't at her belligerent best today but Katie Levick did a fabulous job with her clever spinning methods

W
Levick to Dean, 1 run, OUT, She is a wily customer! Sashayed across her stumps and tugs it away to deep midwicket, scampering back for a brace, Munro is short of her crease and Jones is so quick, removes the zingers in a flash and Phoenix have made a fabulous recovering in the last stage of the innings, lower middle-order couldn't do much in the end but still they'd be happy with the total

CE Dean run out 1 (5m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Levick to Dean, no run, Superb bowling, mixing it up brilliantly, floated up fuller just outside off, all she can do is thwack it back to the bowler

1w
Levick to Dean, 1 wide, Over the wicket, short of a length and spun away prodigiously outside off, trying to keep it away from her range, ball did too much, wide signalled

W
Levick to Gray, OUT, Belted into the covers, quick pick-up and hits the bull's eye at non-striker's end, losing wickets in clumps, not the way they'd like to end the innings, rather anticlimactic end

E Gray run out 0 (1m 1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Levick to Lanning, OUT, Quality stuff from Levick, sticking to her guns and trying to spin it, plenty of revs on the ball, slightly shorter and turning away from off, she backs away, trying to slap it over point but it goes straight into the hands of Smale inside the ring

Levick to Glenn, OUT, Tossed up beautifully on a nagging off-stump line, spins away just enough to beat her ambitious lofted cover-drive and Amy Jones does the rest, removes the zingers in a flash

Levick to Glenn, 2 runs, Lobbed up and it spins away markedly outside off, flams it just over point who was running back, survives and gets another life, wasn't an under-controlled shot by any means, gamble has worked well, brilliant penultimate set

Levick to Lanning, 1 run, Out of time, going to be penalised as long-off comes in, they're behind the counter, too many extras might have contributed to it. Only three fielders allowed outside the ring. Good length wide of off, jockeys across off and knocks it down the ground to deep cover-point
