That's one apiece for these two teams in back-to-back clashes. Paarl Royals will take on Jobueg Super Kings tomorrow. Hope to see for that. Thanks for tuning in here. Take care.
Marco Jansen, POTM: Glad to have it on a string. Going well at the moment. It's not easy to bowl in the powerplay, for me it's all about taking wickets and everything just falls in place, I try to bowl in the channel consistently. We have the best crowd in the country, appreciate them coming out. Stubbs isn't okay with me batting above him. Thought is to try things out sometimes.
SEC up to fourth position now on the points table, DSG at the bottom now
6:37pm: The packed crowd is delighted by the home team winning. The orange is bright and jubilant. SEC did get stuck in the chase but nowhere as close to what DSG experienced. They got off in the powerplay, lost just the one wicket in the phase. Bedingham made a quickfire 39, off 20 balls. Hermann held up an end, Markram cleaned things up with late boundaries. Noor and Maharaj were the picks of the bowlers but the pacers couldn't make inroads.
Seven to win in an over for SEC to bag a bonus point
