TSK won an absolute thriller and the much-anticipated clash lived up to expectations, going down to the final delivery and keeping fans on the edge of their seats. TSK fought hard with a concerted effort to post 185 and then hung in the game till the very end. Adam Milne picked up three wickets with a staggering economy of 5.50 while Noor Ahmad stymied the run flow in the middle overs. Daryl Mitchell was expensive but made up for it with two crucial run-outs of Kieron Pollard and Monank Patel that completely changed the complexion of the game and allowed TSK to tighten the screws. It became a little too tough for the tailenders, and another run-out; this time of Trent Boult didn't help MI New York's cause either. TSK's bowlers were slightly better on the day and though it was a fiercely contested match, it could have gone either way in the end
Calvin Savage, MVP: You have to keep going especially in small fields. Think we were a little short but the way we came and bowled in powerplay was great. It was an unbelievable team effort, such a good fun, loved every moment
