12.30pm: Well, that escalated quickly. England were seemingly still well placed this morning, despite their mini-collapse on the second evening - but this was a full Bazblowout, six wickets shipped for the addition of 47 runs in an hour and a half's play. Ben Stokes fell to the second ball of the day, and Mitchell Starc added another when Harry Brook was finally suckered by the bumper ploy. That left Jonny Bairstow as England's best hope of getting close on first innings, but he holed out straight after drinks and the tail disappeared in a flash. England behind the 8-ball here, although they'll doubtless back themselves in a fourth-innings chase (particularly with Lyon out of the equation). Australia batting again in 10

Cummins to Tongue, OUT, bombed out! Simple catch at short leg! Short ball, aiming for the throat, Tongue gets into line but pops it tamely off the splice into the waiting hands of Matt Renshaw, the sub fielder under the lif. Job done for the Australians, who have bagged themselves a 91-run lead

Head to Broad, OUT, Broad sweeps and misses... given! He reviews but this only has to be clipping. And Hawk-Eye has the ball crashing into leg stump! Just a bit of grip and crashing into the front pad. Chris Gaffaney raised his finger for the second time, and Head has two in five balls

Head to Robinson, OUT, Robinson charges down, nicks to the keeper! And if he didn't hit it, he would have been stumped... Quite a big edge as Robinson looked to smack Head around, and the part-time spinner picks up his first wicket. Well held by Carey, clutching the ball to his right shoulder

In fact, I think that has just missed the helmet grille and struck Broad on the jawbone. Robinson comes down, and the Australians go to check on him as well. The England medic is quickly out to have a look... seems like he has passed the concussion test, Broad is nodding his head that he's okay to continue, despite the ringing in his ears. He really took that right in the chops

Green to Broad, no run, bumper from round the wicket, Broad takes it on the helmet! He was dropping the hands and turning his head away, the ball ricocheting down behind the stumps and rolling through towards Carey

"I doubt we'll get beyond 393/8 as the turning point in the series," murmurs David, with his arms crossed

Green to Robinson, FOUR, full and whipped to leg, that's a lovely bit of timing from Robinson! Steps out and pings it over midwicket for four

Green replaces Hazlewood. New ball is six overs away

"Slowly, but surely, England are throwing this game (and probably the Ashes) away," sighs richyrandall. "Like you've said, I bet Australia cant believe their luck! Really poor cricket from England. "
