8:16pm A strange innings. Not because of what India did with the bat, but because of some of their decision-making. SKY shifting himself down the order seemed the right ploy as long as those promoted ahead of him were batters and players expected to play a role in the top eight. But then Rana walked in, and then Arshdeep and then Kuldeep, meaning that SKY did not bat at all. In his absence, Samson made a decent fist of things, even if he was not at his fluent best. Abhishek did what he usually does and got India off to a flier, with Axar and Tilak also playing cameos through the middle.
Oman, meanwhile, will be pleased with their efforts. There was a notion that India would definitely post above 200 but they have kept them down to under it. Faisal was the star of the show, getting the new ball to swing and then nailing his plans at the back end. Ramanandi was not shabby either, with Kaleem also helping himself to a couple of wickets. Oman do have a mountain to climb, although they might be relishing the challenge of going up against a solid Indian bowling attack. Join us in the bit for the chase!
Faiz: "With SKY slotted at number 11, he need to bowl today! " -- The only time SKY has bowled in a T20I, he bowled the 20th over, with the opposition needing six to win. If this game goes that deep and becomes that twitchy, India will have problems...
