9.30pm Right then, that will be all folks! A strong batting performance from the Gulf Giants, followed by a dominant show with the ball. Be back with us tomorrow for Abu Dhabi Knight Riders taking on Desert Vipers. Until then, this is Abhimanyu Bose signing off on behalf of Vishal Dikshit.
9.22pm Time for the presentation ceremony
James Vince, again the player of the match as well: Yeah it's nice. Pleasing to contribute to wins. Three wins in a row is a great start for us. We had good chats yesterday at training. Some of us had experience of the conditions before. We probably though earlier that 140-150 was par, but Hettie and Dawson going off at the death helped us get to 180. It's a difficult role, particularly on a wicket like that. Lucky to have him. He has the firepower, he has the quality and he does the job consistently. [On the bowlers] It's hard to single one out. As a bowling group we were exceptional. I thought we had plans and we practiced and we executed very well. We planned on going back of a length and did that well. One thing talking about it but to go out and do it, absolutely superb. Three from three is a great start but there are other teams out there and there will be tough challenges as we go on.
Rovman Powell: I still think it was the right decision [bowling first]. We just didn't bat well as a team and they also got 20-25 runs too much. We pulled it in just a bit, the unfortunate bit is we are playing good cricket but only in patches. I think bowlers like CJ will be very, very handy. He has a lot of pace and he slides the ball instead of bouncing the ball. These are the types of wickets where batters need to spend some time. I still think we are playing good cricket. One bad game does not make you a bad team. The two previous games represent this franchise
9.12pm What a comprehensive win for Gulf Giants this was! James Vince hit yet another half-century as he continues to lead the run charts and Shimron Hetmyer also played a good knock to set up a big target for Dubai Capitals. The Capitals' top order couldn't come to the party today and David Wiese and Chris Jordan made short work of the middle and lower order. They both took three each, while Gleeson took two. Dubai Capitals' 80 is the lowest score in the tournament. Gulf Giants have made it three wins in three and look like a well rounded unit!
Chris Jordan: Nice reward, but most importantly, we've got three wins from three. The batters thought that if we bowled on that 7-8m length and go stump to stump, we should have some joy. Boys are just looking forward to training every day. They are all working so hard to get into that team, so that dynamic is great. [On his side-on position for the catch] I feel if the ball swings in the air or goes away from me, I'm in a better position to take it.
