9.55am Seeing as some of you are wondering why there's ball-by-ball coverage of the England game and not the West Indies ones at Old Trafford, the answer is obviously because this one is being live-streamed (the venues are bio-secure, lest we forget, so no other way to watch the matches). But never fear, we have been getting under the lid of the Windies camp regardless, with our behind the scenes footage.
9.50am Morning all and welcome back to the Ageas Bowl. Two bits of overnight news before the resumption of play in just over an hour's time. Team Buttler have declared, which means we will get to see Jofra Archer and Mark Wood duking it out this morning.
And the teams will also wear black armbands in honour of the great Sir Everton Weekes, who died last night aged 95.
If you haven't read it already, here are Ian Chappell's memories of a great West Indian icon.
6.26pm So, it's been a day of cricket! And frankly what more could we want in the first week of July? England's intra-squad tussle has turned up some interesting subplots. A look-at-me knock from the previously unheralded James Bracey, and a confident half-century from the coming man, Dan Lawrence. Saqib Mahmood bowled with pace, Craig Overton with intent, and James Anderson with increasing poise after a rusty morning session.
Join us again tomorrow for more warm-up frolics, as the English cricket season gets its baby-steps back to the big-time!
Final over of the day, Stokes calls the shots in the field. And it's going to be Leach to see it out
