Sam: "The gutters are overflowing here in Somerset, my mate in Cumbria has had rain for the past 16 hours, and another friend in Birmingham went outside for 5 mins and is now part mer-person... What's it like at OT?" Still dry for now! No sign of the covers just yet, though a fair bit of cloud covers. Perfect bowling conditions, you might say.
Rivlud: "Can you please tell me Roston Chase's bowling figures against England in his career? I am interested to see if he is one of those golden arm bowlers!" Chase vs England: 24 wickets at 32.7; Chase vs everyone else: 44 wickets at 45.3
1.30pm: Afternoon all. While I polish off my lunch, here's a highlights reel of Broad's blitzkreig innings. If it doesn't load below, click this link.
1.04pm What a morning. Six wickets, 111 runs, the bulk of them coming in the form of a glorious throwback knock from Stuart Broad, who ticked up a 33-ball fifty after Ollie Pope and Jos Buttler had fallen early in the session. Those breakthroughs came in the midst of a thrilling first-hour onslaught from Shannon Gabriel and Kemar Roach, who racked up his 200th Test wicket in the process. So much going on! Back in 30 to see how West Indies get on in response.
CiMP: "The runs scored by England in this innings after the advent of Broad, minus 20, would be the margin by which WI will lose the Test. If I am proven wrong and WI win, I am prepared to eat Broad's hat, if couriered to me."
Anubhab Mukherj: "With that, Bess is now averaging 83 in this series. Dom Bessman anyone?"
Rivlud: "Not a special bowling display from Holder's recent standard's 1-83 on a overcast English condition pitch, that's a big yikes and ouch! He's been in good form with the ball in the past several years! Maybe his bstting could make-up for those numbers?"
