6.32 pm India live to fight another day. After spending 157 overs in the field and conceding 669 runs to fall behind by 311 in the first-innings, and then losing 2 wickets in the first over, who would have expected Rahul and Gill to bat 62.1 overs? Surreal stuff.
Just like at Lord's when India lost all those wickets on the final morning and then fought hard, they have resisted once again from a dire situation. England are still well ahead in the game leading by 137 and needing only eight wickets for victory (with Pant nursing a broken foot though he is likely to bat) but they would have expected to be closer to the series win by stumps on day four.
Test cricket. You think you know how it's going to unfold and it surprises you so often. What a game.
