5.20pm That is stumps on day three in Bengaluru. After being skittled for 46 - their lowest total at home - India have somehow stayed in this Test, reducing the deficit to 125 by stumps on day three. Kohli and Sarfaraz made counterattacking fifties and seemed set to go to stumps unbeaten...until Phillips intervened, striking with the last ball of the day to claim the prize scalp of Kohli for 70. Sid Monga's report will tell you the full story of the day. That's all we have for you today. Do come back tomorrow for more action. Until then, take care and cheers.
Ravindra speaks to the host broadcaster: I guess I was just trying to build partnerships and the partnership with Timmy [Tim Southee] really helped me out. It's a really good wicket out there. Yes, it's comforting though the wicket is different and nice playing in this ground (on playing in Bengaluru). It's great [to have my father and family around] and always appreciate the support from the Bangalore crowd. It was huge and Virat is a great player and we still have runs on the board. We know that things happen quickly in this part of the world.
