tarabou: "SA declared and 2.5 hours left of today... can it be all over today??" --- Maybe not officially, but if they grab a couple of wickets, then it will be as good as done.
Just in: South Africa have declared. Sri Lanka's target will be 516
2:43pm Bavuma walks off to a standing ovation and South Africa lead by 515 at tea on day three. No sign of any declaration yet but a silver lining for Sri Lanka after a couple of sessions of toil. They have managed to dismiss both Stubbs and Bavuma after centuries, and after a partnership of 249 runs. By no means Sri Lanka look to be in the game, and South Africa batters are doing well to wear them out further. Bedingham used the opportunity to free his arms and Verreynne also looked padded up before Bavuma fell. We'll find out shortly, with Madushka back on the wheel, what happens in the final segment of the day.

Sri Lanka taking their time to ensure this is the last over before tea
Bilal : "from look of it. what's game plan of SA?" Think they might be aiming to declare a little after tea
