That's it from Varun and me. Thanks for joining us and see you soon
Kohli: Amazing, three clinical games from us, relentlessness of the side pleasing. Haven't had a break for a while, hectic Australia tour and now this. We are three-nil up so I can relax a little. Some outstanding talent coming through. Saw Shubman batting in the nets, I wasn't even 10 percent of that at 19.
Williamson: They are teaching us a lesson and we are required to rise up to the challenge. There were small improvements today but we need more. Wasn't easy to get momentum on this wicket, Ross was brilliant. With the ball, we are going okay but we need early wickets.
Mohammed Shami is the Player of the Match: difficult to bowl against the wind, but somebody has to do the job, it's part of the game.
10.23pm No middle over jitters, no last over finishes, that was as comprehensive as it gets from India as they win a series in New Zealand after ten years. They have gotten better and better since the loss to Australia in the first ODI at Sydney and have thumped New Zealand in three anti-climactic ODIs. As is their wont, two from the top order, Rohit and Kohli today, set it up nicely and Rayudu, who had looked badly out of touch before the last ODI, batted with freedom, as did Dinesh Karthik, included instead of an injured Dhoni today. This makes it three series wins for India outside Asia in the last one year, starting with the hammering of South Africa, a closer series against Australia and another comfortable win here. England was the only place they couldn't conquer, but they'd be happy to change that at the World Cup.
