Kapil Baldawa: "Don't think its a par score but I feel NZ can come back into the game by picking the top order wickets, at least 2 of them in the PP. Expect a close game if India are say 30 odd for 2 in PP"
Jackie F: "Have NZ actually studied their opposition? Or learned anything after the last two matches. It doesn't seem so, they seem determined to play the same style, the same plan, that clearly hasn't worked yet. Lost their versatility and adaptability."
Phooey: "Hard to imagine this being a competitive score. Other than some Boult magic, my hope is that losing the series reduces the stakes and helps NZ calm down, they just seem to be panicking rather than accepting India is bowling well, working it well and aiming for 270 rather than 300."
Thomas Milliken: "I believe Munro and Latham need to switch. Have Latham open with Guptill."
Venkat: "Wowzee, the Kiwis have made a mess out of this innings in the last 5-6 overs. What was looking like an easy 280+ target has fallen short by 40-50 runs."
Anish Mishra: "NZ definitely 30-40 runs short. Even Tom Latham few mins back said NZ are kooking for 270-280. "
RajerFed: "There is something strange with NZ, thee seems to be some obsession with 2, 3, 4 : 324, 234, and now 243"
Puneeth Tirunag: ""Al Presidente: "In reply to "Kiwis, what would you be happy with in the last 15?" Batting out the last 15 overs!"" Sorry you didn't get your wish. Read this in the 36th over and thought of it as a joke. Who would've have thought NZ would be all out with an over to spare after that solid partnership in the middle."
6:47pm To put it mildly, New Zealand have fluffed it again. The starts just don't come for them, at the moment, and the finishing has been average once more. The middle was a lot better today, with Taylor and Latham bringing yet another one of their solid stands together. But India were too good with the ball again. Chahal with two crucial wickets - Williamson and Latham - did a lot of heavy pulling for the seamers who were all very good today. Pandya with a scintillating comeback. Shami with another impressive show and Bhuvneshwar was back at it in the slog overs. A total performance in the field again from India. The chase, shortly.
