The powerplay was brisk, and even though there was a slight slow-down as the field restrictions were lifted, Pakistan found their range with the arrival of their skipper. He shepherded the innings with an unbeaten 53 and was helped along the way, with Haris, Nawaz and Faheem all playing cameos.
Afghanistan will feel they gave up too many runs, especially with the ball spinning. Mujeeb, Nabi and Rashid were all tidy and each of them was among the wickets too, but the execution of their pacers left a bit to be desired.
