9:33pm The Kings have huffed and puffed their way to 129. They began well enough in the powerplay, with Sujay, in particular, making the most of the field restrictions. A flurry of wickets in the sixth over, though, dented their charge and they just could not recover thereafter. There was a brief flicker of hope, when Arvindh and Atheeq were together but the latter's dismissal opened up the floodgates, which eventually culminated in an abject finish to the innings.
Almost every Dindigul bowler stood up. Chakravarthy set in motion their dominance, with Vignesh and Warrier also chipping in. Ashwin was not among the wickets but he only gave up 13 runs, which further tightened the screw and did not allow the Kings to get away. The Dragons, after what they did a couple of days ago, will be confident of hunting this down. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!
Varun Chakravarthy: Ash (Ashwin) anna gave me the ball at a crucial time and I am happy I could contribute. (On P Vignesh) Very quality bowler. He can bowl over-spin, side-spin. He has all the qualities a left-arm spinner needs, and he has a great future (ahead). We still have 120 balls more to go. Calm heads now.
Right. How many can the Kings get from this last over? Bhati to bowl the last over. Impact substitution for the Dragons too. Shivam Singh replaces Warrier
