That's it from us at ESPNcricinfo for the live coverage of this match, folks. Firdose Moonda's report will be up shortly. Catch you on the next one.

Harmanpreet Kaur: "We fielded really well and saved a lot of runs. South Africa were doing well for 25 overs, but then we got that breakthrough. The way we were batting on this pitch we knew we could get close to 270. Maybe 10-15 runs here could have given us a better cushion. When Brits left the field we looked at it as an opportunity. We thought about bowling dot balls, and if we can get wickets in between that would be great."

Sneh Rana is Player of the Match: "I was just thinking about my variations. I just relied on them and the pace-off deliveries worked really well. This pitch was tougher than the first match we played. But we talked to the management and we agreed to take the pace off and bowl variations. I did that well."

Wolvaardt: "We'd been set up nice and early, but lost our way towards the end. It's unfortunate what happened with Tazmin, but it's really hot, what can you do? She could barely get up the stairs. She did a good job, it should have been up to the others."

India get another victory under their belt to kick off the tri-series. South Africa, though, will kick themselves that they could not turn a fantastic start into a winning chase. The heat in Colombo (and even by Colombo standards, this is SERIOUS heat), meant that Brits couldn't carry on long after she completed her ton. And though the likes of Annerie Dercksen and Sune Luus striking boundaries in the late going, South Africa didn't have enough firepower lower down to get themselves across the line.

Sneh Rana's three-wicket over is what sealed the game. South Africa needed 25 from 18 balls and had five wickets in hand when that over began. But for the second game in a row, she produced a match-turning performance, dismissing de Klerk, Dercksen, and Brits. Her 5 for 43 is easily the best bowling analysis in the game.

A sad ending to this game for Brits, whose cracking start had put South Africa on track to hunt this score down. But we've seen this many times in Khettarama, which tends to be a very tough ground to chase down big scores on. Spinners often end up deciding games here.

Gautam to Mlaba, 1 run, OUT, goes for another hit on the off side, but gets run out attempting to get back on strike, This was fullish again, and Mlaba has made some space to repeat the shot from the previous ball. But she's only hit it with the outside half of the bat, and it goes off towards deep point, where the fielder runs in, fires a throw into Richa Ghosh, and catches Mlaba well short.

Gautam to Mlaba, SIX, Mlaba's got some power! That's some clean hitting. This was full, outside off and she gets underneath it beautifully and smokes it over wide long off for six. Another couple of those and SA are in business. again

Reddy to Mlaba, OUT, another one goes! Poor running from the SA tail. This was a length ball that Mlaba tried to hit through the offside, but inside edged it to the right of Reddy, who sprinted across, and collected the ball. Klaas was some way down the pitch after Mlaba had called her through I think, but she was turned back eventually and Reddy hit with a direct under-arm throw to find her short. India on the brink now.

A triple-wicket over for Rana, who is having a great start to this tournament. That wicket also gets her her fifth scalp/

Rana to Brits, OUT, another wicket! It's Brits this time, and thats a HUUUUGE blow. Brits is down the track trying to slam this down the ground, but she gets too close to the pitch of the ball (it was a quickish one from Rana) and all she does is give the bowler a return catch at belly-height, which she receives gleefully.

Rana to Dercksen, OUT, Rana strikes again! This was Dercksen again going to that favoured legside, trying to slog sweep Rana over deep square leg. She doesn't strike it cleanly though, and the deep square leg fielder picks that up comfortably, and completes the catch around knee-height in the outfield

Brits is back! SA still have hope while she's there for sure.

Rana to de Klerk, OUT, slips it through her defences! Rana bowled a match-turning spell against Sri Lanka. is she doing it again. She beats de Klerk with a little extra pace, I think. This is full, and there to be swept, but Rana has shot this one through before de Klerk gets her bat into position. It spins into middle and leg.

Reddy to Dercksen, FOUR, another one of those bruising legside swipes. This is too short again from Reddy, and Derckson gets into place for that pull shot early. This is closer to the deep midwicket fielder, but she still can't touch it

Reddy to Dercksen, FOUR, Dercksen's got some power. This is another slow one, which barely gets above knee-high for the batter, who swivels her body, and slams that between midwicket and square leg. That went rapidly to the boundary

Rana to de Klerk, no run, tossed up wide of off, de Klerk stays in the crease and opens the face, but short third is there to prevent a run

SA need a few more boundaries. But they're running out of batters now. Here's Nadine de Klerk to the crease.

Rana to Tryon, OUT, in the air and big shouts of catch it. Rana strikes and India are back in this now. This wasn't a massive shot from Tryon, who i don't think was trying to hit the boundary - only to chip into the outfield. She was down the track slightly and lifting this legside. But it floats out all the way to deep midwicket, where the catch is pouched without much effort
