It's official - the game has been called off! Zimbabwe win by 80 runs Fair result, they were the better side, and they managed to get enough overs in to force a result. They are now one win away from their first ever ODI series win over Pakistan

Bez: "I'm still here at the ground. The rain has substantially slowed down to drizzle. But with puddles of water around and the sunset time approaching fast, let's give Zim the win. they deserved to win"

03.41pm: It is, we hear, still raining heavily in Bulawayo. The odds of getting a game in continue to diminish.

GormintAunty: "@Danyal - Could your report include the words "hopeless", "chaotic" and "circus" again, in case @Mahd missed them for his roster the first time. Just to increase his vocabulary if nothing else...P.S - The reply to @Zed was brutal but sadly correct " I have managed to steer clear of all three words in what I've got scribbled so far!

Right, we don't have anyone at the ground and no update for now, but we'll keep you informed as and when we get anything new. I'm going to start working on the report, meanwhile, but I'll see you back here should be get any more action.

The rain's become more persistent, now, and it's begun to set in. It had been in the forecast all day, and actually arrived 90 minutes or so later than it was supposed to. But it may well be here to stay. Remember, of course, that the Queen's Sports Club does not have floodlights, so this needs to finish before it gets dark

Dan: "The irony is that if Pakistan had not bowled Zimbabwe out so quickly in all likelihood this game is a no result wash out." Ha quite possibly yes

jasbir singh: "What is the DLS par score" As I understand it, it's 141 at this stage

Saad Munir : "If this is it then I would be more happy then Zimbabwe because I can't watch this anymore as a Pakistani."

And it's begun to rain! They've brought the covers on quickly, and the players all get off the ground. It's begun to darken on the horizon as well and this may well be it, folks.

Zed: "Dear PCB and PCT I officially resign as a Pakistani cricket team fan/supporter.Good luck" See you on Tuesday, then?
