It's official - the game has been called off! Zimbabwe win by 80 runs Fair result, they were the better side, and they managed to get enough overs in to force a result. They are now one win away from their first ever ODI series win over Pakistan

Bez: "I'm still here at the ground. The rain has substantially slowed down to drizzle. But with puddles of water around and the sunset time approaching fast, let's give Zim the win. they deserved to win"

03.41pm: It is, we hear, still raining heavily in Bulawayo. The odds of getting a game in continue to diminish.

GormintAunty: "@Danyal - Could your report include the words "hopeless", "chaotic" and "circus" again, in case @Mahd missed them for his roster the first time. Just to increase his vocabulary if nothing else...P.S - The reply to @Zed was brutal but sadly correct " I have managed to steer clear of all three words in what I've got scribbled so far!

Right, we don't have anyone at the ground and no update for now, but we'll keep you informed as and when we get anything new. I'm going to start working on the report, meanwhile, but I'll see you back here should be get any more action.

The rain's become more persistent, now, and it's begun to set in. It had been in the forecast all day, and actually arrived 90 minutes or so later than it was supposed to. But it may well be here to stay. Remember, of course, that the Queen's Sports Club does not have floodlights, so this needs to finish before it gets dark

Dan: "The irony is that if Pakistan had not bowled Zimbabwe out so quickly in all likelihood this game is a no result wash out." Ha quite possibly yes

jasbir singh: "What is the DLS par score" As I understand it, it's 141 at this stage

Saad Munir : "If this is it then I would be more happy then Zimbabwe because I can't watch this anymore as a Pakistani."

And it's begun to rain! They've brought the covers on quickly, and the players all get off the ground. It's begun to darken on the horizon as well and this may well be it, folks.

Zed: "Dear PCB and PCT I officially resign as a Pakistani cricket team fan/supporter.Good luck" See you on Tuesday, then?

So, it's not going to be one-way traffic after the late resurgence and a bit of a comeback following a collapse, thanks to Raza and Ngarava's partnership. They got a solid start and had a launchpad to spring from but Pakistan ruled the roost in the middle overs as the spinners applied the squeeze and wickets fell in quick succession. Faisal Akram showed great control on his debut and didn't look flustered, ending with three wickets and a stellar economy of three. Spinners dominated the proceedings, although Haris Rauf continued his fine form from the tour Down Under

Ngarava: I'm quite happy about it, would have been nice to get a fifty but unfortunately i didn't manage to cross the line but trying to bat for the team was the main thing. Surface was quite slow, it is still quite slow but we sort of expect such (conditions) here. It's quite enough (runs on the board) if we get early wickets and go through the middle phase...right now apparently we need to take wickets

GM: "The Good thing is, Pak under Rizwan has been able to take all 10 wickets in 3 out of 4 matches which is a very good sign as a bowling unit going into the champions trophy."

Saud Qazi: "Make it quick @Pakistan. Would love to watch Liverpool take 8 points lead above Man City today live in the Barclays Premier League."

ShahSafeer: "As a Pakistani, I always feel we won't be able to chase anything against anyone. But these young and some experienced domestic players needed to get a long run at this level, I hope they'll always go with new players against smaller teams from now onwards "

Mohammad Hasnain to Ngarava, OUT, Bails flying everywhere! Hasnain keeps his calm and doesn't offer him pace to work with! Doesn't get hold of it. Hasnain aims for the toes and he plays all around it, chopped on! Nice comeback by the bowler but it's been a valiant effort from Ngarava, whose incredible fight must have lifted Zimbabwe's spirits. Early wickets could certainly create some panic and we know Pakistan have a tendency to implode, although they have looked quite secure in this format of the game recently

Mohammad Hasnain to Ngarava, SIX, What an emphatic way to bring up 200 on the board! That's been pummeled! Quickly swivels off his feet and carts it over deep backward square for a six; that's a meaty connection! Too short on the legs and he doesn't miss out and remember this is not his primary role but he has done superb work

Faisal Akram to Ngarava, 1 run, Receives constant specific instructions from Rizwan and I'm not sure if you got to spoon-feed him, let him try his methods. Once again plenty of flight and turning it away, warily lunging at it and ball takes the outside edge and trickles towards third man

Mohammad Hasnain to Ngarava, no run, Hasnain searching for his first wicket. Awkward back-of-a-length zone, gets big on him, he wants to pull but lacks conviction and clarity in his shot; ball hits him high on the bat and descends quickly between square leg and midwicket

Thanks Danyal. This is a stumbling block for Pakistan; they sometimes struggle to clean up the tail and lose their way. On the other hand, Zimbabwe fans have something to cheer about. They enjoyed gritty resistance and flamboyance from Ngarava and Raza. The hosts have shown better application in the last hour or so and it's been a good fightback but the hard work is going down the drain after two quick wickets. It's a little test for Rizwan, who would like to grow in stature as a captain and will continue to ring the changes to wrap up the innings quickly

Faisal Akram to Muzarabani, OUT, cleans him up beautifully. He didn't know too much about it, and left a huge gap between bat and pad. The ball sneaked through it, and Zimbabwe's innings fading away now

That brings Muzarabani and Ngarava, best friends, apparently, out to the middle

Faisal Akram to Sikandar Raza, OUT, long hop, should have been punished, but instead Raza holes out to the cow corner boundary! It looked like he had enough on it to clobber it over the rope, but Abdullah Shafique takes a smart catch perched on the edge, and this is a body blow for Zimbabwe
