Boston Bruins forward David Krejci returned to practice Monday for the first time since he suffered an upper-body injury on Dec. 27.

The top-line center wore a noncontact jersey during practice. He will travel with the team to Montreal, where the Canadiens will host the Bruins on Tuesday night at Bell Centre.

Overall, Krejci has 33 points in 35 games this season.

"I’d like to play as soon as possible, but this kind of injury, at this point in time it’s kind of day-to-day," Krejci told reporters after practice. "We’ll see how it feels tomorrow -- hopefully better -- but we’ll see how it feels tomorrow in warm-ups."
