Texas A&M hosted six official visitors during the weekend, all of them commitments: Jay Arnold, Reggie Chevis, J.J. Gustafson, Jordan Points, Alex Sezer and Brett Wade.
But the biggest storyline of the weekend didn't come from the 2013 class, but 2014 instead.
The Aggies landed their sixth commitment of the 2014 class, Lufkin (Texas) High School receiver Jamal Jeffery, on Friday. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound receiver was the Aggies' third commitment of the week and second 2014 commit of the week, joining ESPN Watch List linebacker Hoza Scott, who committed to the Aggies on Wednesday.
Here's what Jeffery had to say about the Aggies:
"I like the program," Jeffery said. "I think I'll fit good in the program because I play slot receiver. I see Kenric McNeal and I watch how he plays and I feel like I can play the same position well."
