No. 21 DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville

Making the case: Parker emerged as a serious deep threat for the Cardinals in 2012, becoming Teddy Bridgewater's favorite downfield target in Louisville's huge season. The sophomore actually finished fourth on the team in receptions but led the way with 744 yards -- a clear indication that he knows how to gain chunks of yards. Parker averaged 18.6 yards per reception -- the highest average among the top 10 receivers in the Big East stats. And though Parker isn't listed in the NCAA stats for receiving yards per game, only five players ranked there have a higher average per catch.

Parker also had 10 touchdown catches, also tied for the most among ranked Big East receivers. His stellar season landed him a spot on the Big East first team, as selected by the coaches. There is no question Parker is one of the more underrated players in the Big East and the country. This is what offensive coordinator Shawn Watson had to say about his star receiver: "DeVante Parker, I don’t know if there’s a better one in the country, honestly. Unheralded. That kid is a great player."
