Nebraska deputy athletic director Kristen Brown has joined the 12-member NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Committee. She fills the post vacated by new SMU executive deputy AD Colleen Sorem.

Tennessee's Whitehorn pleads guilty, granted judicial diversion

Tennessee starting guard Ruby Whitehorn pleaded guilty Friday to two misdemeanors in exchange for judicial diversion stemming from an altercation last month that resulted in her suspension by the team.
