The 2022 WNBA draft will be held Monday, April 11 starting at 7 p.m. ET, the league announced Thursday.
For the first time since 2019, the draft will be held in person at Spring Studios, located in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City.
It will also air on ESPN from 7 to 9 p.m.
"Coming off of an incredibly successful 2021 season and in the wake of our recent announcement regarding the largest-ever capital raise for a women's sports property, the WNBA continues to build momentum for the future of the league," WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert said in a news release. "And what better way to ramp up the momentum for the tip-off of our 26th season."
The Washington Mystics currently own the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.
The 2022 WNBA regular season will tip May 6.
