Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and a dancing grandma show support for 2021 WNBA draft player selections

From designer outfits to dancing grandmas and everything in between, the 2021 WNBA draft was full of memorable moments. The WNBA's coveted orange carpet was virtual this year, but the top prospects were still dressed to impress. Charli Collier's draft day outfit was designed by Sergio Hudson, the stylist for former first lady Michelle Obama.

The Dallas Wings started the draft by selecting Collier No. 1 overall. Although Collier did not stay on the board for long, she received support from fellow Texas Longhorn Kevin Durant before the draft even started.

Shortly after her selection, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic welcomed the Texas native to the city.

After being drafted No. 3 overall by the Atlanta Dream, 2021 NCAA tournament star Aari McDonald made sure fans knew how to pronounce her first name:

McDonald also got a shoutout from Chris Paul and new Dream owner Renee Montgomery.

The New York Liberty selected Michaela Onyenwere with the No. 6 pick, but it was her grandma who stole the show with these dance moves -- and impressed Washington Wizards all-star Bradley Beal.

Meanwhile, Chicago Sky star Candace Parker shared a bit of comic relief from her daughter.

Parker was selected as the first overall pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.
