ESPN Fantasy Projection: Although the Fever drafted Caitlin Clark with the first overall pick in 2024, Mitchell remained productive as a scorer, as she averaged a career-high 19.2 points per game while shooting 46.8 percent from the floor, which was also the best mark of her career. Mitchell was designated as a core player during the offseason and will return to Indiana for an eighth season. The 29-year-old doesn't generate much production outside of the scoring column, which can lead to some lackluster performances in games where she struggles to find her shot. However, she's appeared in all 40 regular-season games over the past two seasons and proved in 2024 that she can maintain high-level fantasy production. Even though the Fever also acquired DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard during the offseason, and Clark could take another step in 2025, Mitchell should have plenty of opportunities to showcase her upside.
