Poll: What should the Redskins do with Kirk Cousins?

The Washington Redskins slapped Kirk Cousins with the franchise tag for the second consecutive season in hopes of retaining the quarterback who has led them to two consecutive winning seasons.

But it appears Cousins has other ideas.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Cousins asked Washington owner Dan Snyder to be traded and that Snyder told him not to anticipate a deal. With their franchise quarterback clearly upset with the way things have been handled, what should Washington do?

Vote now in the poll below!

Cousins could immediately become one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the league and fetch the Redskins a solid return if they choose to deal him. They could also break open the bank and commit to him as their franchise quarterback going forward. Finally, with Cousins set to make over $20 million next season, they could let him play out the year and reassess next offseason.
