Scott Wilson's late double ensured champions Macclesfield ended the season on a high with a 2-0 win at home to Dagenham.It was less about the match than the raucous celebration party inside a bouncing Moss Rose, and the lifting of the divisional trophy at the final whistle.With the hosts already champions and the Daggers out of the promotion frame, both sides' fate this season was already secured and they were content to play out the encounter in a more relaxed style. But Macc boss John Askey brought on substitute Wilson late on and the striker obliged with a decisive low finish from Mitch Hancox's cut-back in the 79th minute before another close-range finish capped a red letter day for the hosts three minutes later.

Michael Cheek treble fires Dagenham to thrilling victory over Guiseley

Michael Cheek scored his first hat-trick for Dagenham as they edged an eight-goal thriller at already-relegated Guiseley.The 26-year-old broke the deadlock after 16 minutes when he tapped into an empty net after great work from Fejiri Okenabirhie before Liam Gordon doubled Dagenham's advantage with a neat finish through the legs of goalkeeper Luke Coddington.Alex Purver pulled one back for the hosts and they drew level through Ellis Hudson, who slammed in the rebound from James Roberts' saved penalty in the 34th minute.Cheek capitalised on a slip from former Republic of Ireland international Sean St Ledger to regain the lead for the Daggers in the 37th minute but Guiseley were level two minutes later through Simon Lenighan.However, the Lions found themselves behind at the break after Okenabirhie coolly slotted home a penalty on the stroke of half-time to put Dagenham 4-3 up.The goals dried up in the second period but Cheek was on hand to secure his treble after 69 minutes when he was the quickest to react to his own shot, which Coddington saved, to seal an entertaining 5-3 win.

Holland double fires Bromley to victory over Dagenham

Jack Holland scored twice as Bromley came from behind to beat Dagenham 3-1 in the Vanarama National League on Tuesday.Luke Howell beat two defenders before slotting into the bottom corner in the 54th minute to give Dagenham the lead.However, a second-half brace from Holland fired Bromley ahead, the first goal coming just three minutes after the opener when he headed in from a corner.Holland repeated the trick with a thundering header in the 71st minute to put the hosts in front.Bromley were awarded a penalty with 10 minutes remaining when George Porter was pulled back by Ben Nunn, but Mark Cousins got down low to his right to save Brandon Hanlan's spot-kick.Frankie Raymond did find a third goal for the hosts when he produced a superb finish into the top corner.

Staunton earns Woking point with Dagenham

Josh Staunton's second-half equaliser saw Woking end a run of three successive National League defeats after a 1-1 draw with Dagenham.Daggers made the perfect start when Dan Sparkes curled a superb free-kick into the back of the net via the underside of the crossbar after nine minutes.Mark Cousins in the home goal then had to be sharp to push away a free-kick from Chez Isaac.The visitors were level two minutes after the break when Staunton headed home a corner.Louie Theophanous then broke clear and beat Cousins but the goal was ruled out for offside.Fejiri Okenabirhie then glided past a couple of challenges and saw his shot from 20 yards clip the top of the crossbar.
