UWCL recap: OL Lyonnes-St. Pölten, Chelsea-Paris FC

With its new 18-team format, the UEFA Women's Champions League is into the second gameweek, and several exciting matchups unfolded on Wednesday.

In the early games, a late penalty gave Wolfsburg a 2-1 victory over Valarenga, while OL Lyonnes defeated St. Pölten 3-0 with the help of a wondergoal from United States international Lily Yohannes.

It didn't stop there for young USWNT stars, as Alyssa Thompson scored her first Chelsea goal in a 4-0 win. Elsewhere, Barcelona handily topped Roma 4-0, and OH Leuven drew 1-1 with Twente.
