Arsenal forward Noni Madueke is expected to be sidelined for up to two months with a knee injury, a source has told ESPN.
Madueke went off at half time in Arsenal's 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Sunday, with the source confirming to ESPN he we underwent a scan on Monday.
The injury will come as a further blow to Mikel Arteta's already-depleted forward line that is missing Martin Ødegaard, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus through injury.
The 23-year-old's replacement against Man City was Bukayo Saka, who was making his own return from a hamstring injury.

Madueke has impressed for Arsenal since his £48 million ($64.6m) move from Chelsea in the summer. He has started four of Arsenal's five Premier League games this season, proving equally adept on the left and right wing.
His form has translated onto the international stage, where he started both of England's World Cup qualifiers in September and scored his first goal for his country in the win over Serbia.
If the forward does end up spending two months on the sidelines, he will miss Arsenal's next two Champions League games against Atlético Madrid and Slavia Praha.
He could miss upto six Premier League matches and might be at risk of missing the first north London derby of the season against Tottenham in November.
