Wolves transfers: Jhon Arias joins from Fluminense

Wolves have announced the signing of Fluminense winger Jhon Arias on a four-year deal.

Sources told ESPN that Fluminense will receive €22 million (£25.5m) for 90% of Arias' sporting rights.

The Brazilian club will retain 10% of any future sale as well as having a preferential clause should the forward decide to return to play in Brazil.

Arias impressed for Fluminense in their run to the Club World Cup semifinals, scoring once and setting up another in six matches.

In all, he scored 47 goals and provided 55 assists in 230 games for Fluminense since joining the club in August 2021, and was part of the side that won the Copa Libertadores in 2023.

The 27-year-old also has 31 caps for Colombia, and started six games in last year's Copa América.
