Casemiro has said it is "too soon" to talk about whether he will stay at Manchester United next season and admitted he is keen to play more games after slipping down the pecking order under Ruben Amorim.
The Brazil midfielder is under contract at Old Trafford until 2026.
As one of the club's highest earners he has been linked with a move away as United try to lower their wage bill.
He says his future is up in the air and hinted that a decision will be made closer to the summer window.
"It's too soon to talk about next season, but of course I have another year of contract and then an option," he said. "We have important games, and on Sunday we have Arsenal.
"It's too soon to talk about next season. I'm here, I'm available, with total happiness, and I'm ready for the coach and the club. As everyone knows, I'm a big character for the club."
Casemiro is in line to start against Arsenal on Sunday with United still sweating on the fitness of Manuel Ugarte, who missed the 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad through injury.
The 33-year-old has struggled for opportunities under Amorim -- starting only seven games since he took over from Erik ten Hag in November -- and admits he would like to play a more prominent role.
"Of course I want to play, but I always say, and these are my values, I respect the coach a lot, I respect the club," he said. "Every day I go to Carrington or Old Trafford I try to do my best. If a player is on the bench and is happy, that player is not worth anything for any team.
"Of course I want to play, I want to have more minutes, but the coach is the one who makes the decisions, and I have a lot of respect for him and for the club."
