Manchester United's women's team found out the club's end of season party had been cancelled via social media and news reports, rather than being informed by officials, sources have told ESPN.
United won the women's FA Cup at the weekend, beating Tottenham 4-0 at Wembley. But only found out the club's traditional annual end of season awards was cancelled after the news became public.

But the women's team only found about this after several players had shifted holiday plans to attend the dinner, a source told ESPN.
