Bournemouth striker Lys Mousset has denied voicing frustration at his lack of first-team opportunities and saying he "feels like a spectator" at the club.
Mousset, a France under-20 international, signed from Le Havre for a reported £5.4 million in the summer.
However, he has failed to start a Premier League game this season and Paris-Normandie quoted him as saying: "If I wanted to be third, fourth or fifth in line as a striker, I could have signed for Arsenal or Tottenham.
"It's bizarre, but I feel like I've been left to one side and it annoys me to think I might go a season without scoring."
Mousset has struggled to make the bench this season and has played just 23 minutes of Premier League action across two substitute appearances.
The 20-year-old claimed: "The manager [Eddie Howe] told me I would play in the next league game [against Southampton], but in the end I wasn't even in the group.
"Frankly, I feel like I'm a spectator. I can't stay like this. I always dreamed of being in England -- but not in these conditions."
