Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard remains an option for Barcelona this summer, according to Sport. Approaching the final year of his contract at the Allianz Arena, it is reported the 27-year-old France international could move on. With talks yet to be held on extending his deal, the Blaugrana have maintained their interest in his signature.

Barca coach Xavi Hernandez has made the right-back position a priority, and the Spotify Camp Nou hierarchy are beginning to craft their shortlist. Pavard is reported to be one of the club's main options, with Villarreal defender Juan Foyth and AS Monaco star Vanderson also being considered.

Pavard kept his place in the starting XI for Thomas Tuchel's first game in charge on Saturday, playing 90 minutes as Bayern Munich secured a 4-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund, which saw them leapfrog their rivals into first place in the Bundesliga title race.

21.36 BST: Manchester United are set to hold contract talks with winger Facundo Pellistri, says Cesar Luis Merlo.

The 21-year-old is currently contracted at Old Trafford until the summer of 2025, but the Red Devils are hopeful of extending the 21-year-old's stay that will also see him rewarded with a salary increase.

Pellistri, who made two starts from three appearances for Uruguay at the World Cup, looks to be part of Erik ten Hag's future plans, having been handed first team experience in eight matches across all competitions since the turn of the new year.

20.44 BST: Clubs in the Eredivisie are keen on signing Augsburg and USMNT forward Ricardo Pepi, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It is reported that the 20-year-old is preparing to leave the Bundesliga this summer, and there is early interest from both PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord. It is also said that a club in the Premier League have considered a move for him.

Pepi is currently on loan in the Eredivisie with FC Groningen, where he scored his 10th goal of the season in the 3-1 win over Fortuna Sittard.

20.17 BST: Newcastle United and Everton are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, reveals Ekrem Konur.

The 23-year-old, who has recently been linked with Liverpool, is believed to be on the shortlist of sides in the Premier League, having mainly been utilised as a substitute for the Blues this season.

Everton previously made an approach to sign him in January.

19.30 BST: Roma are preparing talks with forward Paulo Dybala amid hopes of signing him to a new contract, writes Calciomercato.

As well as rewarding the 29-year-old's form in Serie A that has seen him contribute to 16 goals in 21 games, one of the main aims of the Giallorossi is to remove a clause that currently allows clubs outside of the Serie A to sign him for a fee of €12million.

It is understood that the club are prepared to offer him a deal worth more than €6million-per-season.

19.00 BST: Aston Villa attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho is on the radar of a club in the Saudi Pro League, according to Football Insider.

The 30-year-old is the top earner at Villa Park on a deal in the region of £6.5million-per-season -- and that contract isn't set to expire until the summer of 2026.

It is said that the club would be prepared to accept a nominal fee in order to free up space on their salary budget, with a club in Saudi Arabia open to making him a lucrative offer this summer amid hopes of tempting him away from the Premier League.

18.35 BST: Clubs across top leagues in Europe are tracking Lens centre-back Kevin Danso, reveals Fabrizio Romano.

It is reported that three clubs in Italy are interested in the 24-year-old, who is also on the radar of sides in England and Spain.

Danso, an Austria international, has been a standout performer in Ligue 1 this season, where he has started all 29 games in a campaign that sees Lens second in the table behind Paris Saint-Germain.

18.15 BST: In more Borussia Dortmund news, the club have reached an agreement to sign Borussia Monchengladbach wingback Ramy Bensebaini on a free transfer, reports Sky Sports Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg.

It is understood that the 27-year-old has already signed terms with BVB ahead of a move that will become official in the summer, though there could still be some time before the club announces the deal.

17.49 BST: Paris Saint-Germain are looking to send defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu out on loan next season, understands Foot Mercato.

The Parc des Princes hierarchy are believed to see the 17-year-old as a part of their future project following a run of promising performances in Ligue 1, and they could look to secure him a loan with similarity to Marseille's deal with Auxerre involving 20-year-old centre-back Isaak Toure.

It is reported that teams have already expressed interest in Bitshiabu's services for next season.

17.06 BST: Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada, writes Mundo Deportivo.

The 26-year-old is set to be out of contract in the summer, with the club resigned to losing him on a free transfer, and it looks as though BVB are best positioned to sign him, setting up a move that will see the Japan international remain in the Bundesliga.

He has contributed to 17 goals in 35 matches across all competitions this season.

15.52 BST: Chelsea are closing on a €20m deal to sign 15-year-old Independiente del Valle midfielder Kendry Paez.

Fabrizio Romano claims a transfer for the Ecuador U17 international could be signed in the coming days, with Paez set to move to London in 2025.

The €20m is reportedly made up mainly of add-ons, which would revolve around his performances.

15.23 BST: Arsenal have held talks over the signing of Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans, says TEAMtalk.

Tielemans, 25, is a free agent in the summer and is likely to leave regardless of whether the 19th-placed side avoid relegation.

The Belgium international reportedly wants a wage deal that would make him one of Arsenal's highest earners, which has put the brakes on negotiations for now.

14.56 BST: Liverpool have Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher as a top summer transfer target, says The Independent.

Gallagher, 23, is highly rated but the Blues are "under pressure to offload a number of players this summer" and he could be one of them.

The England international is under contract at Chelsea until 2025 and has also been linked with Newcastle and Crystal Palace.

14.12 BST: Everton midfielder Amadou Onana would cost £70m to sign this summer, according to Football Insider.

Onana, 21, has had a breakthrough season at Goodison Park after arriving Lille for around £33m last summer.

Arsenal and Chelsea are reported to be interested in the 6-foot-4 Belgium international, but Everton have named a high fee.

13.30 BST: UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin says the refereeing scandal facing Barcelona is one of the most serious situations he has ever seen in football.

European football's governing body announced in March it had opened an investigation into payments Barca made to the former vice president of the refereeing committee in Spain.

Between 2001 and 2018, Barca paid over €7m to Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira. The Catalan club say they were purchasing "technical reports on refereeing" and deny ever buying match officials or influence.

"The situation is extremely serious," Ceferin said in an interview with Slovenian newspaper Ekipa on Monday when asked about events surrounding Barca. "It is so serious that, in my opinion, it is one of the most serious [situations] in football that I have ever seen."

12.54 BST: Jose Mourinho has offered no clarity about his future with Roma amid rumours he could return to Real Madrid this summer.

The Portuguese coach is in his second season at Roma and is under contract with the Italian outfit until June 2024. There are rumours circulating that Real Madrid could bring back Mourinho should Carlo Ancelotti leave the Spanish giants to guide Brazil.

"I talk about my future at home, sometimes not even there," Mourinho said after his team's 3-0 win over Sampdoria on Sunday. "I don't talk to friends, colleagues or journalists about it. If a few months ago our CEO (Pietro) Berardi said I would stay, that was his interpretation.

"If (Corriere dello Sport director) Mr. (Ivan) Zazzaroni said that I will stay, it is his interpretation. I guarantee you that I don't talk to anyone about this. The situation is very clear: I have a one-year contract. Football is football, Sometimes contracts aren't the most important thing. But everything is going well, everything is calm."
