What is the Women's Euro 2022 format?
The 16 teams were drawn into four groups of four nations.
The group winners and runners-up advanced to the knockout rounds.
It was then a straight knockout tournament, with extra time and penalties if necessary. There were quarterfinals, semifinals and a final.
The tournament was hosted by England.
