TOP STORY: Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs join race for Belotti
Torino are not looking offload their star striker Andrea Belotti, but the latest reports from Tuttosport indicate they'll have a massive battle on their hands to keep hold of the 27-year-old.
The Italian has been a consistent performer for Il Toro, with 12 Serie A goals and six assists to his name this term, which has attracted interest from within Italy and abroad.
In Serie A, AC Milan, Napoli, Roma, Fiorentina and Internazionale are all looking into the possibility of signing the Torino captain. Milan have been aiming to bring the striker in for years and haven't given up hope yet, while Napoli and Roma are looking to find replacements for Dries Mertens and Edin Dzeko respectively. In addition, Fiorentina are uncertain over Dusan Vlahovic's future, while Inter have the same issue with Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.
Looking abroad, Premier League outfits Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have all continuously monitored Belotti's situation, something that is still ongoing.
Meanwhile, Spanish side Atletico Madrid and French club Lyon have been also linked with the striker.
Torino technical director Davide Vagnati said recently: "I hope that our captain will remain all his life. I say it with my heart."
But it seems that Belotti will have plenty of options this summer if he sees his future elsewhere.

Sterling, 26, is currently under contract through 2023 but City are keen to improve the terms in order to ward off of potential suitors. The winger, who signed for an initial £44 million in 2015 from Liverpool, has scored 113 goals, added 86 assists and won eight trophies with City.
Romano added that young Phil Foden, 20, could also be in line for a new deal, on the heals of Kevin De Bruyne's new contract with the club.
20.58 BST: Sporting Lisbon are set to activate their €8.5 million purchase option on right-back Pedro Porro, according to Goal.
The 21-year-old, who has yet to play for City, has impressed on loan at Sporting, so much so that he recently earned a call-up and made his debut for Spain. Porro was signed from Girona for £11 million in 2019, and has also spent time on loan at Real Valladolid.
20.02 BST: Rangers defender and Sweden international Filip Helander has been linked with a move to Premier League sides Leicester and Aston Villa. but the 27-year-old isn't looking too far forward.
"It's just speculation", Helander told Swedish outlet Fotbollskanalen, when asked about the transfer rumours.
"I feel good here and I have two years left on my contract here.
s "That's really the only thing to think about.
"I want to continue to perform well at Rangers and then hope to be able to join the European Championship (squad) this summer.
"This is where my focus lies."
19.11 BST: Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez remains a target for Manchester United, Football Insider claims.
With United likely to move on from David De Gea -- and Sergio Romero -- this summer, the Red Devils are expected to bring in a goalkeeper or two behind Dean Henderson. The 28-year-old Martinez has shined this season at Villa after 10 years at Arsenal in which he largely wasted away on the bench or was sent out on loan.
Martinez has 14 clean sheets in 30 games this season for Villa, but would he be willing to give up his current role as a No. 1 to join United?
18.29 BST: Ross Barkley will not be signing with Aston Villa on a permanent basis, TEAMtalk has learned.
The 27-year-old, who is on loan at Villa Park from Chelsea, started the season brightly for Villa but has recently been relegated to a substitute role. The outlet adds that David Moyes and West Ham have made the England man a transfer target, with Barkley having played under Moyes at Everton between 2011-13.
17.43 BST: Will on loan winger Justin Kluivert be staying at RB Leipzig?
It appears there is no definitive answer to that questions just yet, with RB Leipzig yet to reveal if they will trigger the €10 million purchase clause in the Dutchman's contract.
Kluivert, who recently revealed he would like to stay in Germany, is currently on loan from AS Roma.
Leipzig sporting director has also weighed in on the 21-year-old's future in an interview with Bild:
"Justin has done well so far in the matches he has been used in. At the moment we are in the middle of planning the squad for next season. Kluivert is one of many. elements that can constitute it. We approach this process with the necessary calm, it will take some time before making the final decisions ".
Kluivert has produced just two goals and one assist this season in 22 appearances for Leipzig.
17.00 BST: Will Man United consider letting midfielder Jesse Lingard have another go at Old Trafford, given his impressive form on loan at West Ham?
16.02 BST: Monaco, Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt are in talks to sign Chelsea's Ike Ugbo, says Fabrizio Romano.
Ugbo, 22, came through the Chelsea academy but has never played for the first team. The former England U20 forward has 16 goals for Belgian side Cercle Brugge this season, where he is on his fifth loan spell in five years.
15.31 BST: Lazio are keen to sign Arsenal's David Luiz, says Corriere dello Sport.
Luiz, 33, has enjoyed a mixed bag of form and fitness since he joined the club from Chelsea in 2019 and is out of contract in the summer. The Gunners may consider letting him depart and Italian side Lazio will be interested if they land themselves a Champions League spot.
14.55 BST: Bayern Munich face a painful rebuild after Champions League exit and, judging recent transfers, it won't be easy, writes Gab Marcotti.
In late-September, Flick himself was sounding the alarm, noting how they were short on players and depth. Salihamidzic addressed it with a Supermarket Sweep just before the transfer window closed that brought in Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting, Bouna Sarr, Marc Roca and Costa. The point isn't that the quartet haven't been particularly good (though, as a group, they haven't) -- it's that Flick had to beg and wait until the final hours of the window to address the issue.
Yes, global pandemic and all that. But this is, supposedly, the richest, best-run club in Germany, nein?
Flick himself commented that this Bayern side were nowhere near as good last season's version. The remarks may have struck some as odd -- other than Thiago Alcantara, it was largely the same players -- but was undeniably true. Heroics from Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich (when fit) were papering over cracks. It might still have been enough to win the Champions League and Bundesliga this year, but it wouldn't have changed the underlying facts: there's some major planning to do.
14.11 BST: Barcelona continue to work hard on the signing of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland despite the costs of any deal proving problematic, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Barca's gross debt has risen to almost €1.2 billion but the report says new president Joan Laporta is desperate to bring Haaland to the club.
Haaland, 20, has a contract with Dortmund until 2024 and sources told ESPN that the German club don't want to let him leave this summer for anything less than €180m.
Despite that, Mundo Deportivo claim Barca have drawn up a "seduction strategy" to tie down Haaland, preferably this summer, but if not for next year, when a €75m release clause kicks in.
Barca believe they are well-positioned to sign the forward, with Real Madrid viewed as their biggest rivals, if they can work out a way to structure the deal financially.
13.28 BST: Will Barcelona legend Lionel Messi end up in MLS?
12.41 BST: Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has revealed he is open to "a new adventure" and that as yet there have been new talks with the club over a new contract, although he insists he is happy with the Gunners.
Leno, 29, signed a five-year deal when he signed from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018 in a £22.5m transfer.
"I'm open for everything: for a new adventure or stay at Arsenal," Leno said. "I don't think about my future because two years is a long time.
"At the moment there are no conversations with the club. At the moment it is not the time to speak about the future. I am 29, which is not too old for a goalkeeper. I am very happy at the club."
11.48 BST: Oscar Mingueza and Sergi Roberto are both in line for new contracts at Barcelona, sources have confirmed to ESPN's Sam Marsden.
Mingueza, 21, has broken into the first team this season, making 32 appearances in all competitions, but is out of contract in the summer. However, Barca have opened talks with his representatives about executing an option that allows them to extend his deal until 2023. The Spain U21 defender is still technically registered with the B team, but he will be officially promoted to the first team next season as part of his new terms.
Roberto, meanwhile, has had a difficult campaign due to injuries but returned to action in Saturday's Clasico defeat to Real Madrid. The right-back's contract expires in 2022 but Barca have already communicated a desire to renew his deal to his representatives.
Barca are also negotiating new terms with B team midfielder Nico Gonzalez, 19. The youngster, whose contract expires in the summer, is seen as a potential long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets and the plan is for him to do pre-season with the first team.
11.03 BST: Eder Militao's performances against Liverpool and Barcelona this week have made Real Madrid think twice about the need to spend big on a centre-back this summer, according to Diario AS.
With Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane both absent, Militao impressed alongside Nacho in Madrid's two biggest games so far this season.
The 23-year-old had previously been unconvincing when called upon since joining from Porto for €50m in July 2019 -- a fee which made him Real Madrid's record defensive signing.
Madrid have been tracking Villarreal's Pau Torres and Sevilla's Jules Kounde, while they're also keen to sign David Alaba on a free transfer from Bayern Munich.
10.45 BST: Rafa Mir's 12 league goals for Huesca this season have caught the eye of Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla, Marca reports.
Mir, 23, who is on loan from Wolves, has been the standout player for the relegation-threatened side as they look to beat the drop, scoring six times in their last five La Liga games.
Wolves signing Mir from Valencia in 2018 and he spent time on loan at Las Palmas and Nottingham Forest before this breakout campaign. He has just one year left on his contract at Molineux.
10.21 BST: The Independent reports that Tottenham striker Harry Kane wants to stay in the Premier League if he leaves the club.
Kane, 27, has been at Spurs since 2009 but hasn't secured a major trophy in that time. Manchester United and Manchester City are keen on signing him, even though he is rated at over £100m, and the England captain will be tempted to depart if Spurs miss out on the Champions League next season.
Meanwhile, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is being linked with Tottenham to replace manager Jose Mourinho if that happens. The Daily Express claims "Chairman Daniel Levy is a major fan of the charismatic Wolves manager."
And Eurosport insists 6-foot-5 Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic could replace Kane, with the 23-year-old Austria international netting 15 goals from 30 appearances this season.
09.32 BST: Ian Darke takes a look at this season's new signings around the Premier League and delivers his verdict.
Remember how Arsenal thought Thomas Partey was the answer to their prayers in midfield? Since joining the Gunners from Atletico Madrid for £45m, the Ghana international has either been injured, or is making very little impact in a team seemingly destined to finish in mid-table. Willian and, to a lesser extent, Gabriel have not ripped up too many trees either. Real Madrid loanee Martin Odegaard has had his moments, but is he an upgrade on home-product Emile Smith-Rowe?
Chelsea were the biggest spenders in Europe last summer as they brought in Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva. It's fair to say that none of them have won rave reviews yet though it may only be matter of time, given the quality of those individuals. So far the new goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has probably performed most consistently among the new arrivals, and it has been an academy product, Mason Mount, who has sprinkled most stardust.
Manchester United invested £40m to sign Donny van der Beek, a Champions League star at Ajax, but he has hardly had a kick in any game that matters. Even striker Edinson Cavani, prolific everywhere he has has played, has a modest eight goals in 29 games for United. And then there is full-back Alex Telles, who is no more than Luke Shaw's understudy.
09.04 BST: Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says the club are "very close" to agreeing a new contract with 19-year-old striker Folarin Balogun to stay at the club.
Balogun, whose current deal expires this summer, reportedly turned down offers from over 15 clubs across Europe and will now sign up until 2025.
The England Under-20 striker has scored twice in five substitute appearances for the first-team this season.
08.53 BST: Eric Bailly is ready to reject a new contract at Manchester United and seek a summer move amid concerns over a lack of opportunities under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, sources have told ESPN's Mark Ogden.
The Ivory Coast defender, who was former United manager Jose Mourinho's first signing at Old Trafford with a £30m transfer from Villarreal in June 2016, has been in talks over a new deal to replace his contract, which expires at the end of next season.
But sources have told ESPN that the 27-year-old has become increasingly frustrated with being overlooked by Solskjaer, who favours Sweden international Victor Lindelof as defensive partner for club captain Harry Maguire at centre-back.
08.30 BST: Neymar has given an indication that he will remain at Paris Saint-Germain beyond his current contract.
The Brazilian forward becomes a free agent in June 2022 and has been constantly linked with a return to former club Barcelona.
Neymar's father, who is also his agent, has been negotiating a new contract with PSG for the past few months. Although no deal has been announced, the 29-year-old has reassured PSG fans his future is in Paris.
"This [renewal with PSG] is no longer an issue," Neymar said after Tuesday's 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League. "Obviously, I feel very comfortable and at home here at PSG. I feel happier than I was before."
PSG drew 3-3 on aggregate but went through to the semifinals on away goals.
Neymar, who did not score in the tie against Bayern but did hit the bar and the post in the first half of Tuesday's encounter, was voted MVP.
"I told the coach [Mauricio Pochettino] that I still owe a goal," Neymar added. "No matter how well I played the game, I still owed one. But I will do so [score] in the semifinal."
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi also went on record to say he was optimistic his two stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will remain at the club.
"I believe next year Neymar will be at PSG and he will remain for a long time, still a long time," PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi told Sky Italia on Tuesday night. "He and Mbappe have no reason to leave. Now let's focus on winning the Champions League. It's the second straight year that we have made it to the semifinals. This is a great success."
Janusz Michallik praises Jesse Lingard's impact at West Ham and insists that he's done enough to earn his place back with Manchester United.
PAPER ROUND (by Danny Lewis)
- Manchester United are set to make a move for long-standing centre-back target Raphael Varane in the summer, reports the Daily Mail, with the Frenchman reportedly ready to leave Real Madrid. The 27-year-old's contract with Los Blancos comes to its end in 2022, but he is still valued at around the £60m mark, while United could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain as they strive to strike a deal.
- Still in Madrid, there have been a number of reports swirling around the future of Real's Lucas Vazquez, and AS are now suggesting that Paris Saint-Germain are interested in him. The 29-year-old winger/right-back has a contract which expires at the end of this season and, as yet, a renewal has not been negotiated. While Bayern Munich have already made strides to sign the Spaniard, PSG will now look to challenge them.
- Barcelona have spent a couple of days reflecting on whether or not they will look to sign Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, and they have decided they will try to make it happen, reports Sport. The Catalan giants refuse to get into a battle over wages with the likes of Juventus, as they're looking to lower their wage bill, but they're making themselves an option as the 32-year-old makes a decision on his future after announcing that he would leave City when his contract ends in June.
- Aston Villa are prepared to receive a "monster" bid for their Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, as has been reported by Football Insider. It is claimed that Manchester United are leading the clubs interested in securing the 28-year-old's services between the sticks. All of this interest comes after the stopper's impressive campaign following his move from Arsenal to Villa Park last summer.
