TOP STORY: Inter to give Conte pair of reinforcements
Inter Milan CEO Beppe Marotta is interested in securing two notable signings for the Italian club in January, according to Calciomercato.
The outlet reports that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Federico Chiesa are at the top of Marotta's wish list as they look ahead to the January transfer window and try to give Antonio Conte more options in his squad.
The two stars, from Lazio and Fiorentina, respectively, have both been linked with possible moves throughout the course of the recent summer transfer window.
Milinkovic-Savic has been of interest to Manchester United for two seasons, while Chiesa was linked with interest from Old Trafford earlier in the year.
Inter put together a tremendous window in which they were able to bring in more than half a dozen new faces as they continue to try to dethrone Juventus as the kings of Serie A.

14.01 BST: Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is subject of interest from Italian champions Juventus as they hope to sign the player for free when his contract expires at the end of the season, according to the Mirror.
Juve are reportedly ready to open contract talks with the Spain international in a bid to sign the goalkeeper for free, just as they did with midfielder Aaron Ramsey last season.
The Italian club must wait until the new year before opening negotiations with De Gea, in line with the laws of the bosman ruling, with Juve keen to do so.
De Gea joined United in 2011, going on to make 366 appearances for the club.
13.10 BST: PSG and Tottenham are still interested in signing Juventus forward Paulo Dybala and are looking to make a move for the striker in January, according to the Express.
French champions PSG are keen to take the Argentine forward on loan, while Spurs reportedly see the attacker as a replacement for Christian Eriksen, who was subject of interest from Real Madrid.
The forward was close to joining Manchester United and later Spurs but both moves fell through due to the costly amount required for the player's image rights and wage demands.
12.00 BST: Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti laughed off claims that he was on the verge of moving to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
"Honestly, I don't know where this rumour with Arsenal came from," Umtiti said in an interview with French outlet Canal Football Club.
"Overnight, I received messages from my friends 'ah, so you are joining Arsenal?' I'm not, I'm sorry but I'm staying at Barcelona.
"Contacts with Arsenal? To be honest, I don't know if they had conversations with my agent, I just told him that I didn't care what was happening this summer and that it wasn't even necessary to talk to me about it."

10.29 BST: Former Watford manager Javi Gracia has said that he was "surprised" to be sacked by the club on Saturday.
Watford replaced Gracia as head coach of the club within minutes of his departure, appointing former boss Quique Sanchez Flores.
"After the unexpected announcement about the termination of my contract after only four matches, I want to express my surprise after completing the season in Watford's history," Gracia said in a statement.
Gracia guided Watford to the FA Cup final last season, a fixture that they ultimately lost 6-0 to Manchester City.

The 28-year-old Netherlands international was reportedly set to be offered a new £200,000-a-week deal at Anfield but the club have no intention of giving the player a new contract for the time being.
Van Dijk, who is among the final three nominees for FIFA's The Best men's player award alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, joined Liverpool in 2018 for £75m, then a world record fee for a defender.
08.26 BST: Paul Pogba staying at Manchester United this season rather than moving to Real Madrid was in part down to Adidas, according to the Daily Star.
The tabloid claims that sportswear giant, which manufactures kits for both clubs and has a big-money, 10-year sponsorship deal with Pogba, acted as "peacemakers" in the situation in order to keep the France midfielder at Old Trafford for at least one more year.
"They acted as peacemakers between the player, his agent and the club," a source is quoted as telling the star.
"Adidas were crucial in persuading all the parties to resolve their differences for another season."
08.00 BST: Danny Rose insists he sees his future at Tottenham despite the club signing another left-back and opening the way for him to leave in the summer.
Tottenham signed Ryan Sessegnon, 19, just before the start of the season, having allowed Rose time off from their preseason tour of Asia "in order to explore prospective opportunities with other clubs." However, the 29-year-old has remained at Spurs, where he has a contract until 2021, and the England international is adamant he wants to stay at the club he joined from Leeds in 2007.
"I guess I should be happy with maybe being up for sale and having started the first four games for Tottenham and the first England game of the campaign," Rose told reporters after England's 4-0 win over Bulgaria on Saturday. "I can't lie I am very happy.
"I don't need to prove myself to anybody. I have a manager at club level who knows me, you look at last season I played in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, I played semi-finals of the Champions League and I played in the final. So I've got a manager at Tottenham who believes in me.
"I don't feel I've got anything to prove to anybody and I feel as if I've done enough over the years to prove my worth. I obviously just want to repay everybody that's shown faith in me and it's been a great start to the campaign, and I'm looking forward to what's ahead."
PAPER TALK (by Harry Kettle): De Gea to reject Manchester United deal?
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea looks set to reject an improved contract offer to remain at the club, The Sun reports.
The future of the Spaniard has been up in the air for a good few years now, with the ever-present rumour being that La Liga juggernauts Real Madrid would swoop in and sign the shot-stopper. Alas, after they signed Thibaut Courtois, it became clear De Gea would have to look elsewhere in order to secure a move away.
The club are said to have put forward an offer of about £350,000 as talk continues to grow of a potential switch to Juventus, which De Gea appears to be considering more and more with every passing day.
Barca to offer Messi a lifetime contract
The latest speculation surrounding the future of Barcelona sensation Lionel Messi seems to be on the verge of coming to an end.
Mundo Deportivo is reporting that the La Liga champions are gearing up to offer the world's best footballer a lifetime contract. Barca fans have been concerned as of late that Lionel could leave the Nou Camp after it was revealed that a clause in his current deal could allow for him to depart on a free.
His current contract will expire in 2021, but after mulling over the idea for quite some time, the club is now ready to pull the trigger on a move that could set a fascinating precedent for teams moving forward in their quest to keep their top stars on the books.
Tap-ins
- "These are signs that mean something to me. Namely, how ambitious I am still. [I want to] play as long as my body can do it, I'm having fun and I'm needed." Those are the words of Germany & Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who noted during an interview with Welt that he isn't considering retirement right now. This comes after a series of injuries over the past few years which have hampered his form to the point where Bayern have been contemplating searching for a replacement.
- Marca is reporting that Carles Perez is edging closer to an automatic renewal of his contract following his electric start to the new La Liga campaign. After appearing in the first three games of the season for the champions, the 21-year-old is just five games away from triggering a clause stemming from his contract that will add two extra years to his deal. This will also allow for Perez's wages to increase as he continues to work his way into Ernesto Valverde's good books.
