FC Dallas signed veteran Colombian defensive midfielder Abel Aguilar, the club announced Monday.
Aguilar will occupy an international slot on the roster pending receipt of his P1 Visa and international transfer certificate.

Aguilar, 33, has amassed 70 caps for the Colombian National Team and represented the country in the 2014 and 2018 World Cups. He has played 195 first-division games across his career and spent the past three seasons with Deportivo Cali in Colombia, where he scored twice in 62 matches.
Dallas (13-5-7, 46 points) is atop the Western Conference by one point with nine matches remaining this season.
